Okay... this club, is ultimately about the sickeningly bright and colourful amount of rainbow-ness one can put into a single piece of art work. It's also about the perversion of cute and morbid sadistic missuse of rainbows. This club is more or less just another dark art club.. the difference is that.. well.. its bright. We hope to have quite a variety of people with a variety of interests and ideas... we just want to make sure we all have one thing in common... an ability to incorperate too much colour in our artworks. We want rainbows, we want blood, we want cute things with sharp claws and teeth, we want depression, we want happiness, we want too much colour, ...we want colourful punky, industrial, fruitsy styles, we want pretty and shiny things, we want glitter and glow in the dark stuffs... we heart colour.

Hello everyone, there's been a change in plans for this month's contest... instead of having our originally scheduled 'use that line' contest we're going to be having a jrocker pride contest called "Pretty in Blood"... because... well...

and we heart jrockers... so to celebrate we've hooked up with our affiliate community The Jrockers Community to make a super fun inter-community contest for both iheartcolour and jrockers members to participate in!! So get out your fave jrock cds and looking through your files upon files on the computer of your fave jrocker images and get ready to draw some sadistically colourful bloody versions of your FAVORITE jrockers. Mmmm.

Alright here is how what and how and when to enter this grande contest so listen/read carefully... You entry must contain a member of a jrock band that you likes... incoorperate rainbows and blood... and be sent to both jrockers and iheartcolour via note with the a link to the entry posted in your gallery, the name of the jrocker, their band's name, and the title of your work of art if different than what its posted under.

Entries will be posted on both the jrockers & our iheartcolour journal. And then we will have the members of jrockers and our members here at iheartcolour vote on ALL of the entries later on. Please participate! It'll be fun!!!
